DOYLE COLLIER, CP
My name is Doyle Collier. I was born and raised in Independence, MO. and have worked in the Kansas City area my entire career. Since starting in the field as a technician in 1973, and becoming a certified prosthetist in 1979, I have managed a practice, started a local company that grew into a regional leader, which was purchased by a national corporation, and found that corporate practice was not a fit for me and am thrilled to be working once again with a local company focused on individual patient goals.
Pediatric care is a passion of mine and I have been involved with the amputee clinic as Children’s Mercy Hospital for more than 37 years. I also participated in amputee clinics at The VA in K.C. Topeka, and Leavenworth, as well as K.U. and Truman Medical Center. I am also a frequent lecturer for various medical, physical and occupational therapy schools in the Kansas City area. I have also had the opportunity to train countless residents in the field and have managed the Kansas City area residency program.
What I enjoy most about working with Decker Integrated Orthotics + Prosthetics is seeing patients in a more relaxed atmosphere where I have the time to use my expertise to give them all the knowledge they desire. I am thrilled with the team approach that keeps the patient is the center of the team. Taking the time needed to explaining and answer any questions, without being rushed, is my privilege, and something no patient should be denied. My goal is to help each patient return to their optimal level of function.
